This version of the RUCK® MOON Podiatry Treatment Chair/Couch makes working on the foot even easier. This is ensured by the electromagnetic adjustability of the extendable footrests. The leg sections are folded down via the power-assisted gas springs. The adjustment at the touch of a button facilitates podiatry treatment on the leg and foot in an effective and stress-relieving way. Of course, this chair/couch also catches the eye with its distinctive moulded wood elements in CPL walnut, CPL oak or white CPL. The motorised interior for height and tilt adjustment is fully enclosed and therefore easy to clean. From the low entry height of 53 cm, the chair/couch goes up to a seat height of 103 cm, or a patient heel height of 145 cm. Everything is easy to control with the newly developed foot control including memory function. The patient control for the backrest tilt is included. The chair/couch can be rotated in all directions and securely locked in place by the clinician with a twisting knob. The back tilt goes up to the complete flat position. The comfortably-constructed cushioning also comes in a special soft option - ideal for beauty/wellness treatments. Mandatory for medical use, the product conforms to the requirements of the current regulations for a Class I Medical Device: EU MDR (2017/745/EU) and UK MDR (2002). The height adjustment of the chair is motorised, ranging from the low entry height of 53 cm to the highest seated position of 103 cm. The centre of gravity always stays in the centre and ensures additional stability in all rotated positions.
The podiatry chair can be rotated 270° on both sides, which means you can rotate your patient to exactly where you need them. It is locked in position using the rotary locking knob, which can also moved to your desired location under the seat so that is easy to reach.
The leg section is your primary fi eld of work and therefore intuitive operation is extremely important here. Easy raising and lowering is provided by the two extra motors or gas-assisted springs, allowing you to always reach the optimum working position.
The cushioned footrests off er extreme comfort for the patient. To extend, they are simply released by a rotary knob and slid into the desired position. For special procedures, they can be slid sideways.
When adjusting the back tilt, the armrests move in synchronisation with the seat. They can also be folded up for easy access and they are cushioned on the back, providing great comfort for patients in the prone position.
The calf rests are magnetic and therefore easily removed to allow access to the full circumference of the lower leg.
There is an easily accessible patient control button for the tilt of the backrest on the motorised and magnetic variants.

The newly developed foot control offers maximum convenience with four memory functions that can be individually programmed for up to three different practitioners Simply select the user, set the desired position and then save it - you can then recall the saved positions at any time.
Enjoy the same features and benefits as the wired foot control, but in a wireless option.

The MOON Podiatry Chair/Couch with magnetic footrest extensions, uses electromagnets to control the locking mechanism of the footrest extensions, instead of the manual locking knobs. The heights of the leg sections are individually adjusted using the gas-assisted springs. These features make working more efficient and less stressful on the body since the patient’s legs and feet may need to be repositioned several times.
The cushioning for all our chair/couches and practitioner chairs/stools, is available in a choice of seven different colours, in high-quality fine premium synthetic leather. These cushions are not only exceptionally comfortable, but also extremely hard-wearing and can be easily cleaned with all commercially available disinfectants. Furthermore, the material is resistant to bodily fluids such and sweat, urine and blood. It is also resistant to oil and grease and is solvent and phthalate free. We offer replacement upholstery for all previous RUCK chair/couch models. This allows you to customise the look of your existing furnishings without needing a full replacement. Why do we use a wooden look?
Quite simply, wood and wood-like surfaces are excellent for creating a relaxing
atmosphere. Their look and feel have actually been proven to reduce stress
and provide the feeling of a healthy and natural environment.
This conversion cushion set provides a convenient way to convert the chair into a fully-flat couch - especially suitable for full body assessments or additional treatments such as massage. Set made up of 2 x conversion cushions (one large and one small).
Standing pays off! While finding the ideal treatment position is possible while sitting, we recommend standing every third treatment to stretch and relieve your back.
