Depending on the intended use and operational circumstances, first-aid equipment must comply with the following DIN standards:

• DIN 13157 – small first-aid kit: For smaller businesses, depending on the sector, with 1 to 10, 20 or 50 employees
• DIN 13169 – large first-aid kit: For large businesses, depending on the sector, with up to 50, 100 or 300 employees (highly large businesses may require additional kits)
• DIN 13164 – Car first-aid kit: As a first-aid kit in the car

What else should you bear in mind regarding first-aid equipment?

Especially important for rapid first aid: first-aid kits and first-aid cases must be stored in a well-visible and easily accessible place. All employees should be able to access them without difficulty in an emergency.
