HybridCap – the revolutionary grinding cap system

The HybridCaps range of medical devices is used for hygienic corneal treatment. The HybridCap system is made up of two parts: the cap holders (sizes S, M and L) along with the HybridCap caps (sizes S, M and L in four grit sizes*). Depending on the severity of the callus and the treatment objective, the practitioner can select the suitable instrument. The colour coding of the HybridCaps ensures quick and perfect identification of the respective grit size.

Sterility and safety

The HybridCap system provides sterility and safety right from the first use, as the HybridCaps and the cap holder can be easily integrated into the entire hygiene cycle, both during disinfection and sterilisation in an autoclave at 134°C or with hot air up to 180°C.
Note: Disinfect the cap and holder separately and sterilise them if necessary.

Patented hybrid grain

Like the Hybrid TWISTER from BUSCH, the HybridCaps are also equipped with the unique, innovative and patented hybrid grit. It includes sharp-edged ceramic grains and smoother diamond grains.

As a result, the hybrid grit produces a smoother finish whilst delivering significantly higher abrasion performance. This means the treatment goal is achieved more quickly yet reduces the need to recondition. Even on diabetic feet and in patients with parchment-like skin, working with the hybrid grit is especially gentle.
